Claire has 34 years of environmental consulting experience, spanning small private sites to complex federal facilities undergoing Superfund remedial response and RCRA corrective action. Her in-depth knowledge of human health risk assessment and ecological risk applications continues to serve as a strong foundation for a broad array of environmental projects. Claire works extensively with EPA’s Superfund Redevelopment Program (SRP) and also provides technical support under EPA’s Technical Assistance Services for Communities program. In her SRP work, Claire serves as a technical lead evaluating remedy protectiveness for sites across the country. She also provides training to colleagues and communities on the role of risk assessments at sites. She is a technical advisor and resource to EPA and Skeo project teams evaluating remedy implementation, performance and compatibility with planned reuse considerations. Claire also provides technical assistance to communities with environmental justice concerns, supporting public workshops that explain complex contamination issues in plain language.
